I just want to ask that my father is an ex-servicemen without any gallantry award, so will get a CW quota or not?

'CW' essentially means 'Children/Widows' out of which widows of ex-personnel is the big factor here.
Even if a serviceman has won a gallantry medal, it has to belong to Category-V, for his/her wards to be eligible for the CW quota.
A host of other criteria includes Disabled in military action/ death during military action/ death in peace time with death attributable to military action etc.
So, yes, being an ex-service man without clearing the other criteria is not enough to be eligible for the said reservation criteria.
