I just want to ask that my father is an ex-servicemen without any gallantry award, so will I get CW quota or not?

Hello Aspirant!

CW Quota is for all wards of defence personnel, however the priority of consideration for the course/ job varies. The priorities vary and generally are in the following sequence:—

1. Wards/wives of personnel killed in action.
2. Wards/ wives of personnel disabled in action.
3. Wards/ wives of personnel killed during normal course of duty.
4. Wards/ wives of personnel disabled during normal course of duty
5. Wards / wives of gallantry awards winners
6. Wards/ wives of serving defence personnel
7. Wards/ wives of retired defence personnel
