Hey Sneha, basically Maths is not the subject that plays a crucial role in BSC-IT, because the course revolves around subjects related to the technical aspects more. What actually matters is your interest in coding and a liking for IT related subjects, if yes, then you should definitely go for it. Basically BSC-IT has subjects like Python, C, C++, Java, Computer graphics, etc. Yes, you will have Maths initially in the first two semesters but that can be managed easily if you get proper guidance and if you do a regular practice of Maths by studying on a regular basis. You need to have an overall subject total of 45 in Maths to stand eligible for taking admission in a BSC-IT course. If you have an aggregate Maths subject total above 45(not just the 35 that you scored in your theory but include the other internal marks as well regarding assignments, class tests or even worksheets). You should have a score of minimum 55% marks in the PCM subjects, but if you have an aggregate score of minimum 50% in 12th Science stream, then you dont need to worry, you will be eligible to take admission in a B.Sc-IT course. Usually Government colleges have a higher cut-off scores for admission as compared to the Private college who usually have a decent and lower cut-off scores for admissions. So you can compare your final score/percentage with the cut-off lists of several colleges offering B.Sc-IT course by visiting their official websites. I hope this helps you.
Good Luck!!

Hello sneha
If you are able to get admissions in any college for bsc IT then it's fine .You can do hardwork in mathematics for your semester exams . If you chose IT then you may have to study maths for one or 2 years depending upon the college .But you can handle that as the syllabus is quite short for mathematics
