For MBA in USA or most of other coutries first you have to take following exams

1) GRE or GMAT- score in these exams are used as cut off for various institutes.

2) TOEFL or IELTS- to denote you proficiency in english.

Individual institutes may specify the exam they consider , which you have to check while applying.

Apart  from an impressive scores in these exams you also need to have an impressive resume with work experience or projects. This gives an extra weightage to your application.
