Hello there, Delhi University conduct entrance for admissions in PG courses. If you want to get admission in MA philosophy you have to apply for the entrance exam and qualify it with minimum requirement.
Once you have qualified the exam you can appear for counseling In Delhi University for further admission process.

Yes you need to give the du pg entrance and perform highly well in it. St. Stephens will prepare the list of candidates selected, followed by an interview. Both will atlast confirm the admission.

is there any syllabus for du entrance exam? are all the question theoritical? or is there any aptitude based question?

The paper is theoretical and everything will be from what is in bachelors. Check pattern and previous year question papers of DU.
