iit goa elctrical or iit guwahati eng physics

my sc rank in jee advanced is 1421 can i get iit goa??(i was alloted electrical in 1st mock but iit guwahati eng physics in iit guwahati) ??

This depends on your interest as in which branch you are more interested. Clearly IIT guwahati is better institute than goa but electrical is better branch than engineering physics. I will suggest engineering physics at IIT guwahati.

IIT Goa is better comparatively as placements for electrical branch has package on median basis of 7lpa. Core companies like Bharat Forge, bajaj, Tata Power, Samsung, intel have been top recruiters.

Engineering phyiscs has not attracted core placements at IIT Guwahati, also average package is 5.5lpa.

Overall Goa campus is better in terms of infrastructure and learning pedagogy as well.
