In 2017 IIST cutoff was 73 but only first 2000 rank holders were selected what about the candidate who got 73 marks

Every candidate who clears the eligibility criteria of iist can't get admitted into the university....

hii ritika,
every candidate clearing cutoff will not definitely get admission. in 2017, only first 2000 rank holders get admission and not all others who clears cutoff.
