Both are good choices. But i think MBA in financial management is a better choice. The jobs include accounting manager, financial analyst, corporate controllers, insurance and risk managers, manager consultants, investment banking associates, etc. The scope of MBA in finance is tremendous and offers good job opportunities with good pay packages.

Hello Binit, See both are good in their specific field... but i would prefer MBA in Finance management becoz The Finance Group provides research in the areas of Accounting and Control and Corporate Finance. Specialisation in finance would help you to get preference in different MNC's company, as chances of selection increases...

It also gives you an opportunity to get employed in both private and public sector/ institutions like finance companies, mortgage, loan associations, savings and commercial banks. The wide scope of financial experts is a result of the fact that people want to protect and expand their money and for that they need trustworthy and knowledgeable people.

So, best option would be MBA in Finance... All the best

In Christ University both of the programs are equally good but still as it has an association with few foreign universities and you get a chance to go and study in the foreign universities where they have a special program for specialization in finance so that gives financial management a little upper edge.



But I will recommend you to go for financial management only if you are interested to pursue your career because if you don't have prior experience in the financial field and later you lose interest in it then literally it will be pretty difficult for you to sustain and perform in this field. With specialization in general management, you will have an advantage of entering into various domains for working. I mean you will have more opportunities and there won't be any restriction for any domain entry like only finance domain.



Again I would recommend you to look for your interest so it's better to follow your call in the end because overall college is decent and all branches are almost equal in terms of studies, exposure and placement.



Just for your convenience to know more about the overall placement performance of college, below I am mentioning the stats of last year placement records.



According to last year placement reports in Christ Bangalore, only 80.76% of the total batch was placed and highest package offered was Rs. 14 lakhs per annum and the average salary was Rs. 6.5 lakhs per annum and Rs. 3.5 lakhs as the lowest salary. Its fee is Rs. 433500 for the first year and around 7 lakhs for the second year in which you go out of India to study through college. The second-year fee is variable depending on the dollar value.
