In my 10th marksheet last name in my mother's name is missing and I have added the last name in online application of IPU MCA through NIMCET. Will it cause any trouble. What can I do?

It might cause a minor issue if the name in your online application does not exactly match the documents you submitted. Usually, such mismatches are questioned during the document verification process at the time of admission or counselling. To avoid trouble, it's best to prepare an affidavit stating that both names refer to the same person your mother. You can get this affidavit made through a local notary. Also, keep any supporting documents where your mother's full name is written like Aadhaar card or any school document. If possible, inform the IPU authorities or NIMCET helpdesk in advance and ask for clarification. It's always better to be proactive.
