Is an MSc anasthaia studend could PhD on anasthesist,without MBBS??

Dear Piyas, each Institution has its own eligibility criteria. Few Institutions accept M.Sc Anaesthesia while few require MBBS as a Bachelor's degree and few others accept either of the qualifications. For example, for admission to Ph.D Anaesthesiology in AIIMS, a candidate should have any of the following eligibility criteria:

• MBBS with not less than 55% aggregate
• A degree of Masters of Science or a Master's degree in any subjects allied to bio medical sciences or PG degree in Nursing with not less than 60% or Doctor of Medicine or Master of Surgery or itd equivalent degree or diploma.
