Is du sixth cut off is only for reserved categories? Are General category students not eligible?

Hello there,
Delhi university has released the sixth cut off on wednesday to fill vacant seats under reserved categories. Some colleges like gargi, shri ram college of commerce released cut offs for general category on their websites but the varsity official, however, said that the cut off for general category won't be considered valid.
