is iiest shibpur safe for girls ? is it ragging freee ? how is the hostel for girls ?

As a girl student at IIEST Shibpur, I can assure you that the campus is really a lot safe for the girls. No cases of ragging. The first years are totally isolated from the seniors and guards take care of them so that no wrong happenings take place. Girls hostel in the first year is really good. the food is alright. You might find it difficult to cope up with the food. But as you become senior you will get far better food. You would enjoy living in this historical environment.
And yes as far as the intime for the 1st year girls is concerned it is not 11pm but 7pm. Last year we had it extended to 10pm in the second semester.

Coming to your question I would like to tell you that the congratulations for getting iiest shibpur it is one of the best college and there is no any ragging problems as the campus is ragging free.
The hostels for the girls are good but their is time limit as they have to report to the hostel by 11pm.( For their own safety).
