The demand for biotechnology is not so much in india. These is due to lack of Research and development organization here. Here you may even struggle for core job in biotechnology.

But the scenario is different abroad. Especially in china, usa or japan you will get lot of opportunities as an biotechnology graduate. This is attributed due to lots of research projects going on there. So, you can decide.
