Is LPU worth studying as many are saying it is big and has poshlife, and many are placed just below 5 lakhs and only some are placed above seven lakhs which can be count in number
Well answer to your question varies from person to person but general feedback I can give you about your concern as per my brother experience so far at LPU.
LPU is worth Joining as it pays better returning in teams of education and jobs and rest all depends on student to student seriousness about his/her career. I believe if you aim high then distance should not be a barrier for you. 6) You will get an online system i.e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more.
7) Security measures for girls - If you’re a girl and decide to reside in hostel. Then you’ll have to mark you attendance daily in hostel to the floor warden and be in hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winters timing and in summers upto 07:30 probably. So if you don’t enter into hostel till that time. You are gonna have to face the warden for explanation and may be a call to your parents. That’s a bit harsh. While girls may not like this but I’m sure their parents would surely do. But if you wanna live freely. There are plenty of PG’s near University. Now decide what’s best for you. But you’ll be super safe inside the hostels than in PG’s that’s for sure. You can go to library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM. But will be accompanied with a guard from you hostel to library.Hospital, Mall, indoor stadium is also available inside the university campus.
8) LPU is having experienced, specialized and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, IIMs, IIITs etc.
9)Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports or Academic. There are numerous events held in the University campus itself. If you like to dance/sing/act then you’ll have numerous cultural events, You get a handful of opportunities if you are sports guy. Let it be football, cricket, basketball anything. Campus Infrastructure: LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hours free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and a huge collection of textbooks and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available.

The industry exposure that we got during our tenure is commendable. I can clearly see the difference in terms of concept clarity and strong basics at my workplace and I owe it all to my college .
During my first year I participated in a lot of live projects and inter college tech fests. Since I was new to application based learning, the faculty was my back bone and helped me at every step where there was a hindrance.
During my second year there were a lot of practical classes as well. The computer languages that we learnt as per our syllabus was backed by a very thorough practical learning with our home assignments. This was the time when I also got in touch with my college seniors who not only helped my with my assignments but are also friends for life now.
During the 3rd year , there were pre-placement classes and a series of mock tests that helped us prepare for our final placements. We also had a few extra classes which covered industry concepts apart from the regular curriculum. In that year I participated with my friend in a robowar competition in Punjabi University and we came second. That was where I applied my practical knowledge from all that I learnt in theory classes.
In the 4th year also there were personality development classes which groomed us well and made us ready for our campus placements.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a semi-residential university college in North India created under the Punjab State Private University Act 2005.it offers around 300 courses in diploma, dual degree diploma, postgraduate diploma, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels with various specialization. Apart from that they also provide best placement facilities but minimum or average salary package is 3-6 lpa depends upon your skills and it is vary by employers.
So if you go through the Positive part then they offers world class facilities with best teachers but if we go through the negative part then course fess much higher then other college or universities .
So it will depends upon you which college you wants to choose if you go through rating ,fame then it is best college but placement is mostly depends upon your talent and skills .
