I completed my 12th (PCB)with score of 9.17 CGPA.I want to join Bsc Agriculture.I have applied for LPU(Punjab)and they said the fee is 9L for 4years after scholarship. I'm from middle class family.Some are saying it best& some are saying worst. I'm confused whether to join or not as money matters

I completely understand your concern, But LPU provides you with best and complete learning in this field and is always recommended by students.  If you look forward with any other university there you don't even get such high scholarship  and even facilities.

Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days, LPU is the first university to get the ICAR accreditation for agriculture courses. If the conversion factor calculation gets you the score of upwards of 90% in 12th your scholarship will be 35% of program fee, so the net fee payable will be 63700 per semester.

So your fee will be about 5 lacs for all 4 years.

If we add hostel and mess fee it will be about 90k per year so thats another 3,60 lacs

Total about 8.60 lacs.

It was earlier advised to take admission before the highest slabs of scholarship go down. However you get world class ICAR accreditation degree with fabulous placements.

see lovely professional university is excellent in terms of its study, college infrastructure and placements,  however fees are quite high and scholarship or fees reimbursement is available as per your score in lpunest.

but if money problem than it would better for you to try for government colleges. one of the best entrance exams for bsc in agriculture studies is ICAR ug.

ICAR AIEEA exam score is applicable  for admission to 75 Agricultural Universities comprising 64 State Agricultural, Veterinary, Horticultural and Fisheries Universities (SAUs), 4 ICAR-DUs, viz. IARI, IVRI, NDRI and CIFE, 3 Central Agricultural Universities (CAU, Imphal, Dr RPCAU, Pusa and RLB CAU, Jhansi), 4 Central Universities (CUs) having Faculty of Agriculture (BHU, AMU, Viswa Bharati and Nagaland University).

however in many degree colleges bsc agriculture admission is taken based on 12th course. so it depends on your state and available colleges. some of the best college to study bsc in agriculture science is,
