NIT Raipur is a public technical and research institute that was founded in 1956 with two engineering disciplines – Metallurgy and Mining. It is an institute of National importance which was declared an NIT on 1st December 2005. The institute offers 5-year, 4-year and 2-year programs, such as B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, and MCA. It also offers doctoral degrees in the field of Science, Mathematics, and Technology.
