COMEDK UGET is a examination which is conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, thus getting its name COMEDK. It is a state-level exam which gives admission to 190 colleges across Karnataka which offer the course of engineering. There are 20000 seats which are offered through this exam and a magnanimous number of applicants apply for the same. This exam though is not exclusive to candidates in Karnataka but anybody of Indian origin can take it and that is why 72000 applicants are ready to give it in 2020.
This year, COMED-K will take place on May 10th and will be a computer-based test. The only language used in the test is English. The forms for the same have been available since January 16th, 2020. For application, candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria to be admitted for the same. The eligibility criteria differs from course to course. Like Bachelors in Engineering and Bachelors of Architecture have different eligibility criteria.
The eligibility criteria for both includes qualification in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized institute.For Btech., the mandatory subjects for the exam are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidate must achieve 45% combining all three. English is compulsorily be there in their +2. For calculating the percentage, the candidate can consider the following optional subjects in the place of Chemistry- Bio-technology, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics. Diploma candidates are not eligible for the application. For B.Arch, the candidate must have passed in 10+2 or with a Diploma 10+3. The only compulsory subject which is required is Mathematics. The aggregate percentage required is 50%. B.Arch. admissions will be based on NATA.

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is a two hour offline test carrying a total of 100 marks. The eligibility criteria for the MBA course is to have completed graduation from any recognized University in any discipline.
