Hello aspirant,
Yes, Two additional seats for rural area students and one additional seat for border area students, respectively be created over and above the sanctioned seats in all the under graduate/post graduate courses offered by teaching departments of Panjab University, constituent colleges, regional centres and its affiliated colleges.
The eligibility for rural area students has been defined as those who did matriculation and Class 12 examination from those rural schools which do not fall in the area of the local body.
But this reservation will not be given for law, dental, education and MBBS courses.
