I've done my graduation externally through a Private university.would i be applicable to admit in IIM after clearing CAT?

You are eligible as long as the university is approved by AICTE. However you need to justify this decision in the interview if you are asked.

Siddarth there is no problem from whichever university you have done your graduation, only thing is your university must be registered and recognised by the government.

You will be definitely applicable to get admission in IIMs after getting a very good percentile in CAT exam. Instead of the school or university from where you have done your graduation IIMs gives weightage to the percentage you have scored in 10th 12th and graduation in the aggregate score which is used to form a merit list to call students for the second round of WAT and inteview.

So prepare well for CAT exam and all the best for your future!!
