Yes, your 54.6% score in the FMGE July 2025 exam is above the required 50% passing mark for the general category. This qualifies you to apply for a provisional medical license from the NMC. Unfortunately,with 54.6% in FMGE you won't be eligible for JIPMER because for general category they need a minimum of 55%. Since JIPMER admissions are only through INI-CET,the same rule applies there too.So you can't appear for this exam with your current score.Don't worry, you can still go through the NEET-PG route, because most states and universities that accept NEET-PG only needs FMGE pass certificate along with NMC registration and internship completion,not 55% cutoff. So, while JIPMER is out of reach,you still have a clear chance through NEET-PG and state counselling.
