The fees that you will be required to pay at the time of admission is INR 11,470 which includes-

• Admission Fee – INR 4,000

• Academic Fee – INR 1,400

• Students Association Fee – INR 2,000

• Learning Resource Fee – INR 2,000

• Corpus Fund on Academic Fee – INR 70

• IT Charges – INR 2,000

JIPMER offers 150 seats at Puducherry campus and 50 seats at Karaikal campus for MBBS course. The minimum required percentile to qualify the exam is 50th percentile for candidates belonging to general category. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, it is 40th percentile.

In 2017, 1,49,369 candidates appeared for the entrance exam, out of these, 57,192 candidates cleared the exam by securing minimum required percentile. Although securing minimum required percentile does not ensure it means that you are qualified for the further admission process.

Although, the candidates need to score at least the cutoff rank to get admission in JIPMER MBBS. The cutoff rank in 2016 for general category was 130, for OBC category it was 76, for SC category it was 44 and for ST category it was 30.
