law as mean of social control in india
Hello,
The conceptual thinking of '' social change'' reveals the depths of some of the characteristics of a group of people. The actions that affected a group of people who collected values or characteristics can also be termed as ''social change.''
There are two extended objectives of law to fulfil, which are firstly, to obtain stability and afford calm life in the society. Secondly, to prompt social change by changing itself according to the needs of the changing society. Hence, law is an important organization of social control. The society dedicates the law for maximum socialization. Rule of law in any constitution is the base for democracy. By fearing the minds of public, the law is a helpful organization for social control. Law administers the behaviour of the people in society. Law, with the help of force, causes the people aware about their duties and obligations. Law saves important and good concepts of the society. The misuse of the people is controlled through law. The constitution of India, criminal , civil laws and other regulations are designed to fulfill this objective.
A systems outlook should consider that social problems are related rather than isolated. People must advocate for progressive outlook for both psychological and political matters, by keeping values like dignity, autonomy, equality, and justice.
Hope this helps.....
