The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. LPUNEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2.
The fees for B.Tech is 98000 per semester without scholarship. Moreover, LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPUNEST, Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester except a few types of scholarships. On inquiring from the counsellors of LPU, I came to know that LPU offers more than 250 programmes with differential eligibility norms and fee structure and so is for B.Tech.
The fee structure for B.Tech in CSE at LPU is Rs 98000 per semester without scholarship.
LPU promotes following scholarship:
1.On the basis of marks in previous class
2.LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship. The University is conducting remotely proctored online LPUNEST from home since month of May and will also continue same in June.
3.Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc.
4.Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
5.Board Toppers
6.For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
7.Defence personnels and central armed police forces(CAPF) dependents
8.LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well.
