Lpu is recognised by UGC so it is not important to get AICTE approval.
LPU doesnt require AICTE accreditations since it is not a deemed university.Moreover universities do not require AICTE approval compulsorily. They might apply for approval from AICTE jist to add another feather to their cap.
Aicte accreditation is required to the colleges which are working under other universities. well LPU is itself a university so AICTE accreditation is not required for it.

Lovely Professional Studies does not require accreditation from AICTE. AICTE accreditation is mostly required by colleges whereas LPU is a university in itself. It is also not a deemed university. Only deemed universities need to have a compulsory UGC and AICTE accreditation. But it may soon be required due to new Supreme Court guidelines and regulations. Hope this answer helps!
