Guidelines of IPU CET Reservation Criteria 2018

• The seats are allocated on an All India Basis for the institutions funded by the Central Government with reservation as- SC: 15%, ST: 7.5%. While, reservation in defence (5%) and PWD (3%) will be in all categories in an horizontal manner. The OBC reservation will be at the undergraduate level only of 27%.

• For minority institutions located outside NCT of Delhi in NCR- here seats are reserved according to the request of the institutions for the appropriate minority segment. If seats are still remaining after this, they are allocated on an all India basis with reservation as -SC: 15%, ST: 7.5%. While, reservation in defence (5%) and PWD (3%) will be in all categories in an horizontal manner except minority seats.

IPU CET 2018 Reservation Criteria- Key Points to Remember

• At the time of IPU CET counselling 2018, candidate seeking admission under reserved categories will have to produce the caste or category certificate. Certificate should be in the name of the candidate. In case, certificate is in the name of either of the parent that is mother or father it will not be accepted.

• The reservation certificate, which a candidate will produce at the time of document verification, should be issued from the respective state/region in which the reservation is claimed.

• According the admission authority, 10% of the total seats as per policy of Government of NCT Delhi will be allocated as management quota (unless surrendered by the institute) in self-financing institutions. However, there will be no management quota in University Schools of Studies, Minority status Institutions and Government Institutions.
