First thing is that ; jee mains is for admission in nits and IIITs and other gfti s.
To take admission in IIT you have to qualify jee advanced with a very good rank.
First of all you have to qualify Jee mains and than after qualifying jee mains you can give jee advanced.
Marks will depend upon the exam difficulty level ; but generally it is 250+ for IIT Bombay .

You can even qualify at near about 90 marks also ; but to get IIT Bombay you have to secure a 250+ marks or good rank in advance .
And if you are able to get this much score ;than don't worry about mains you will get good score in jee mains also.
Because jee mains is the sub part ( assume ) if the jee advanced
