My family income is less than 2 laks per year. Would I allow counselling wbjee through TFW rank? I'm SC category.

Yes, you would be allowed for counselling under TFWS rank and also your SC rank. The eligibility for tfws is basically the total annual Family Income of the student from all sources must be less than Rs. 2.50 lakhs (Rupees two lakhs and fifty thousand) only and the income certificate has to be uploaded during online application.The student must be domiciled in West Bengal and the domicile certificate has to be uploaded during the online application.Submission of Photo-Copy of Domicile Certificate is a mandatory requirement to be considered under this scheme.Submission of Photo-Copy of Income Certificate is a mandatory requirement to be considered under this scheme. Now, you belong to tfws as well as SC category so according to me the cutoff of sc are lower than tfws so you would get a seat on your sc rank. But you are also eligible for tfws scheme.

Yes you can apply for TFW using your WBJEE rank and your rank must be good enough to get a TFW. Every College has a rank range which when satisfied the student is given TFW. Even if you don't get apply for scolarships gven by government and also in the college where you will take the admission. Participate in different programs where you can show your skills and get rewards. There are many ways to do. Just need to see the way to reach there.
