You will still be able to write the exam and go for counselling after the results are out.

If you wrote the correct name while filling out the application form and the mistake was on NTA's part then you can mail your query to them at neetug-nta@nic.in and get it corrected.

Otherwise just make an affidavit saying that U. Basavaraj and U. Basavaaj are the same individuals and you will be good to go.
