However, you may still have slight chances in:
- newer or remote NITs,
- lower-demand branches like Biotechnology or Mining,
- or some lower-tier IIITs during CSAB special rounds .
It is also a good idea to keep:
- state counselling colleges, and
- private engineering colleges
as backup options.
