Then he is will get a seat for selected streams in many colleges across Karnataka. KLS more college had a cutoff of 25000 for civil engineering in the last year. Other streams had a cutoff less than 19000. So there are fewer chances that your son get this college in the first two rounds of counselling. Maybe in spot round, if seats are available till then.
