Hi
Your son needs to clear CLAT exam organize by National Law Universities every year with very good rank ie. Below 2000. The CLAT exam score is used for getting admission in good Central Law Universities across the nation which have only limited seats in BSc LLB.
Hey.
CLAT is a common entrance test for admission in various National Law Universities across the country. The only,NLU that offers the course of BSc. LLB is West bengal National University of Judical sciences, Kolkata.
It is one of the top NLUs hence, the cut off is really high. In 2017 it was a rank of 213.
So, to pursue Bsc LLB through CLAT, a rank around this range would be required. There are other private colleges as well, which give admission through CLAT scores like UPES Dehradoon and offer the BSc LLB course.
Hi sir,

For taking admission in BSc. L.L.B, students have to pass 10+2 class with minimum 60% marks.
Some university gives admission purely on the merit list of 10+2 class marks but some universities take the Entrance Exam test for the admission in B.Sc.L.L.B. After the test, merit list is prepared and candidates are admitted purely on the basis of marks scored in the entrance exam.
All the best
