Hello student,
NEET Counselling 2019 will commence from the last week of June 2019 in online mode. State level counselling will be organized separately by the respective state authorities. Firstly, candidates have to register for counselling and fill their preferences for admission.
- Candidates clearing the cut off required by the respective colleges can apply for admission in that college through counseling.
- Counselling for 15% All India Quota seats will be administrated by Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services.
- Seats will be allotted to students as per their merit, category, and availability of seats in colleges.
- Candidates who wish to resign from the allotted seat after the second round of NEET 2019 will have to participate in the online resignation process.
- Once a seat will be allotted, candidates have to report to the allotted college within the notified schedule.
- The seats that are left vacant after the first round of NEET 2019 counselling will be included in the second round.
The eligibility criteria for the compilation of NEET 2019 Merit List is determined on the basis of guidelines as directed by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India.
- The eligibility is laid out as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations 1997.
- The determinants of NEET 2019 Merit List include the following terms:
- An applicant must attain minimum marks of 50th percentile in the qualifying entrance exam, i.e., NEET 2019.
- The required number of candidates to be included in the merit list are pre-determined. But if the required number of candidates fail to do so, the central government in consultation with MCI and DCI may lower the minimum required marks at its own discretion.
- Lastly, aspirants must have passed individually in Physics, Biology/Biotechnology, Chemistry and English. Additionally, they must have minimum 50% marks in all these subjects counted together.
Documents Required For Counselling
The following documents will be required during NEET Counselling. Candidates must take original documents along with attested photocopies for admission through 15% All India Quota.
- Admit card
- NEET 2019 Result/Rank Letter
- Birth Certificate
- Class X Certificate
- Class XII Certificate
- Class XII Marksheet
- 8 passport sized photographs (Same as the one affixed on the application form)
- Provisional Allotment letter generated online
- Proof of Identity
- Category Certificate (if applicable)

NEET counselling for All India Quota(15% seats in each college) is most likely to begin in second week of June. The counselling will be held in online mode. So,you'll need to fill online registration form, once the notification is out.
Resoective states will conduct theor own counselling process for admission through state quota seats(85%). So you need to follow your state's official medical counselling websote to be updated for same.
Eligiblity criteria is that candidate should have passed class XII and cleared NEET cutoff.
Documents required:Class X marksheet, Class XII marksheet, Transfer Certificate, Category Certificate,Aadhar Card, State domicile.
