If you are asking for top branch in BIT patna then it is CSE, IT and ECE. Students from these branches get good placement and mostly students get placed. Placements in EEE are also decent. In Civil, Mechanical & Production, getting a placement in a core company is tougher. The companies where students have got oncampus placements are: MuSigma,Verizon, TechMahindra, Cybage,Sapient, Mahindra ComViva, Wipro, Aricent, Ericsson, Pinnacle Technologies, Jindal Steel, GMMCO, Symanta, Electrosteel, Maruti, Saakar Constuctions, HDFC Bank, etc. None of these have offered above 6.5 Lacs (Maruti).
Top companies also visit the campus for placements like Amazon, Flipkart, DirectI, DeShaw.

But as you are from Patna so Bit Patna is a good choice at your marks.
