Army Institute of Technology is an engineering college located inp Pune , Maharastra, India. It is affiliated to the University of Pune. Only wards of army personnel are allowed admission. AIT is operated by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) and has the Cheif of Army staff of the Indian army (COAS), as the president of its board of governors.

AIT offers 300 seats for Engineering Course (120 seats in Computer Engineering, 60 seats each in Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering,).

Entrance examination:

AIT admission is based on the All India Ranking obtained in the Joint Entrance Exam. All applicants are therefore required to appear in JEE Main 2019, 1st / 2nd JEE (Main) 2019 or both and also apply to AIT for Admission.

Availability of seats:

Children of serving/retired Army personnel are eligible. The parent should have completed minimum 10 years of service in the Army.

Application forms:

The applicants should fill AIT online application on website www.aitpune.com wef 15 Mar 2019. Cost of Online application is Rs 550/-, inclusive of processing charges. Last date for submission of completed Application Form without late fee is 25 Apr 2019 and with late fee of Rs 500/-  is 5 May 2019.
