Hello aspirant! There isn't an IST Kerala. If you are mentioning the IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) Kerala, here's the answer. IIST Kerala is the top university dedicated to study and research on space. It offers three undergraduate programmes:
- B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering
- B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering(Avionics)
- A Dual Degree ( B.Tech in Engineering Physics + MS in Astronomy and Astrophysics/ MS in Solid State Physics/ M.Tech Earth System Science/ M.Tech in Optical Engineering)
If you have attempted only JEE Mains, you are not eligible for the admission. The candidate must have cleared JEE Advanced 2020 with the following marks:
- General: Atleast 20% marks in aggregate with 5% in each subject
- OBC-NCL/EWS : At least 18% marks in aggregate with 4.5% in each subject
- SC/ST/PwD : At least 10% marks in aggregate with 2.5% in each subject
There are reservations provided for the candidates:
- SC : 15%
- ST : 7.5%
- OBC-NCL: 27%
- Pwd : 5%
- EWS : 10% of the total of each branch
