I am sorry to inform you but that's not how to float option works. Float option is provided to ensure that you get a "better" choice than your previous allotment. So to answer your question, if you get IIIT Lucknow and then if you don't want to take it, you will be essentially forfeiting the seat. The IIIT Kanchipuram seat will be lost in that case.
So while filing the choices, be careful to fill in the order in which you want your colleges. Don't fill Lucknow if you don't want to go. I hope I made your doubt clear.
