see artificial intelligence is a new age technologies and person from any technical stream may learn about it if they have basic programming and computer architecture knowledge. see bits pilani, iiit bangalore has 1 year course program for data science or AI related topics. however you may also follow the lectures of udemy, data camp, simplilearn.
