My cousin was planning to take admission in CSE few days ago in good Engineering institute. Both LPU and Thapar are good in their own right, but LPU operates at a different and much higher level than thapar, so comparison is not right.

the placements of computer science department in thapar university is quite good as per the placement record of 2019 in computer science department , there were 994 job offer being rolled out by various companies, the highest package they offered is of 39 LPA and the average is of 7 LPA, there are top core companies visits the campus and recruit student in bulk , some of the best companies visited are amazon, microsoft and DE shaw , infosys etc. however there is no placement cell in university , there are group of faculty which take care of drives conducted for the placement.

talking about placements of lovely professional university there are 650 companies visited the campus and the highest package they offered is of 42 LPA and the highest stipend also touched rs 80,000 for the final placements , as per the university officials , students of LPU received the highest number of appointment letters in the region , the top companies visited the campus are google,accenture,TCS,capgemini,tech mahindra , voltas and many more
