What about the reservations in getting admissions in the medical colleges with respect to caste ???

NEET 2018 will be conducted by CBSE on May 10, 2018. This national level entrance exam is the key to getting into several medical and dental colleges spread across the country. NEET has its own reservation policy where some seats are reserved for certain categories. There is also an All India Quota where 15% of the seats will be filled through central counselling conducted by MCC while the remaining 85% of the seats will be filled through state counselling for which candidates will have to contact their respective state counselling authorities.

Under the All India Quota of UG/PGseats, 15% and 7.5%reservationis provided for Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) respectively. The Central Government admitted 413 SC and 205 ST candidates out of 2739 undergraduate (MBBS/BDS)seatsunder the 15% All India Quota during the last academic year 2013-14.

The same rule followed which is there in every college .
50% of all seats for reserved .
In which 27% for obc and rest for SC and ST .
