Food technologists are concerned with food processing and  product development. Popular sectors for employment of food technologists are FMCG, Agri-biotech, dairy firms, retailers, bakeries, academic and research institutes, food packaging etc. A food technology graduate can work as food technologist, biochemist, analytical chemist, head engineer etc. Many private sector organizations recruit graduates in B.Tech food technology.
