The number of seats under may vary yearly. The total number of seats available for general category students in NEET is the seats left after the constitutional reservation. The ratio of reserved seats are as follows:
- Scheduled Caste- 15%
- Scheduled Tribe - 7.5%
- Other Backward Castes - 27%
- Economically Weaker Section - 10%
- Persons with Disability (PwD)* - 5%
