A Patent officer is the one who files and prosecutes patent applications on behalf of the client.
Qualifications for Patent Agent.
1.) One must have a degree in Technology, Science or Engineering.
2.) He or She should be citizen of India.
3.) 21 years or Above
4.) Qualify the Patent agent exam that is conducted every year by Indian Patent Office.

1.) In corporate firms one can have good amount of salary
2.) It is a respectable job and one has the right to sign the patent applications.
