What is Eligibility rank for MBBS
Hi
Admission in MBBS is through Neet examination.
So, to be eligible for MBBS you need to qualify Neet examination . NTA doesn't release qualifying cut off rank rather it releases qualifying cut off percentile and the corresponding marks to be eligible for admission in mbss /bds /ayush courses and BVsc i. e veterinary.
Neet qualifying cutoff percentile remains the same every year i. e
-)50 percentile for general category
-) 40 percentile for OBC /SC /ST category
-)45 percentile for general PWD category
For your reference Neet 2020 qualifying cut off is provided below,
Category cutoff percentile cut off marks
General/ews 50 720 - 147
UR-PWD 45 146 - 129
Obc/Sc/st 40 146 - 113
You can check the same at

But ,
cut off marks marks keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
*number of students that appeared in the exam,
*kind of marks obtained by them ,
*toughness level of the examination etc.
So , to be on the safer side you should try to get at least 15 to 20 marks more in comparison of Neet 2020 cut off as per your category i. e if you belong to general category then try to get around 160 marks in order to qualify Neet 2021.
But yes,
Just qualifying with Neet cutoff won't help you to fetch a seat in a Government Medical College so you should try to get at least around 575 marks if you belong to general category.
Now , limited time is left for your neet 2021 examination, so focus on preparation, go through the chapters , practise questions and then revise them, go through mock test papers once you are done with complete syllabus.
If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :) we are always available to help you out and guide you
Thank you
