Although the eligibility criteria for B.Com (//B.Com) varies from college to college. However a general eligibility criteria include the following:
- The candidate must have studied Commerce in class 11 and 12 with Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Maths and English.
- An aggregate of 60% or more in English/Hindi and combination of three best among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce.
- 50% or more marks in Mathematics/Business Mathematics

The basic eligibility criteria for B.Com ( Hons) degree in India is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognised board of the country.
Students must have studied and passed in any of the subjects like accountancy, economics, business studies or mathematics.
