Hello aspirant, the basic eligibility criteria to take cat exam is the student should have completed a degree or in a final year of degree. As in under graduation.
Second thing is the student should posses an aggregate of 50 percent in his undergraduation. As in, his percentage b the end of final year or when he decided to take in final year should be 50 a minimum. In terms of cgpa, it should be atleast 5 points.
These are the only eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for CAT exam for General category is to have at least 50 percent marks in your bachelor's degree or equivalent CGPA to appear in the entrance exam for CAT. Candidates who belong to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe and persons with disability must get 45% or equivalent CGPA in their graduation.
