There are variations in hostel rooms that LPU campus has, such as one seater, two seater, three seater, four seater, five seaters, six seaters and dormitory also.

These rooms are generally divided into two categories , air cooled rooms(Air Coolers) and air conditioned (AC) rooms. Fee of each of these vary from which rooms you are opting for.

Hostel fee is paid on Academic basis, after every academic years , students are asked to register and book the rooms again through their UMS portals.

• Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University.
• In-campus Hospital with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students.
• Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only and subject to conditions.
• Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler).
• Mess facility with vegetarian meals only.
• Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only.
• Gymnasium (optional on payment basis).

Hi. I have never got an opportunity to stay in hostel as I was a day scholar but most of my friends were in hostel so I know all the details about hostels. And I will definitely tell you about the things that LPU hostels provide. Firstly I would like to tell you the capacity in LPU hostel is the largest in the world. These are the facilities that are provided by hostels as per my knowledge: Attached washroom and geyser in each room, Air cooler in each room and if you want to avail AC room you can get that as well. Bed, study table ,chair and almirah is provided by LPU. The best part was 24 Hrs. Security Services, 24 Hrs. CCTV Surveillance, 24 Hrs. Electricity Backup, 24 Hrs. Water Supply, 24 Hrs. Staff Assistance and Medical Service is available. The most important thing these days WI-FI service is also available. In every hostel there is study room, TV room, Lift facility and Purified Water facility is available. My friends use to tell me about the mess food with various options like North Indian, South Indian etc. options are available in the hostel. Students need not to go outside university for any thing. Tuck shops are there in every hostel. Departmental stores are also there. In our university there is Uni-mall as well. So in totality, LPU is a small town and one can enjoy his/her stay in hostels.

Charges for Residential services and mess depends on the selection of the room and the mess plan student has opted.

Hostel fees for LPU students depend on which type of hostel room you want whether it is air cooled or combine student room

While Mess Fees for LPU students is near about 20k-23k for each academics semester/year.
