I have lived in hostel and I hope this will help you get a clear picture of the kind of life a hosteller leads at the Lovely Professional University. LPU provides variations in hostel rooms such as one-seater, two-seater, three-seater, four-seater, five - seater, six - seater, and dormitory also. These rooms are generally divided into two categories, air-cooled rooms, and air-conditioned rooms. As the names suggest, air-cooled are provided with air coolers and the other is provided with AC. The fee of each of these varies from the type of rooms you are opting for. Hostel fee is paid on Academic basis, after every academic years, students are asked to register and book the rooms again through their UMS portals.
The University offers more than 200 programmes in Management, Hotel Management, Computer Application, Engineering, Architecture, Design, Commerce, Fashion Technology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Paramedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Education, Physical Education, Films, Animation, Fine Arts,. Fee structure varies from course to course.

Fee Structures of all three are as follows:
1. LPU : 98000 per semester without scholarship, but scholarship upto 30% of fee is still available till October 31st 2020 depending upon your program and performance in the relevant parameters.
2. VIT : 195000 per annum, atleast 5% increase is expected every year.
3. SRM : 170000 to 220000 per annum as per the program chosen.
The hostel fees of LPU is in public domain i.e around 60000 per year.

I am not aware about VIT and SRM, but i can assure you that both are extremely costly than LPU.
Fees at Lovely Professional University is always transparent and there is no hidden charges at all.
Complete fees at LPU is as follows :
Tution Fees : Tution fees at LPU depends on student’s caliber and you can avail maximum scholarship on tution fees. Tuition fees varies from course to course. Moreover LPU offers various scholarships to motivate the deserving students.

Mess Charges : University offers mess for complete academic session, which included 4 time meal at the charge of around 32,000 INR (approx)
Laundry : Laundry is optional and can be availed at the charges of 4,000 INR

LPU offers scholarship based on various categories like previous qualification percentages, LPU NEST exam, national level test, defense personnel or CAPF dependents and many more. Whichever will be the best applicable that will be reduced from the fees of every semester. The fees structure depends upon the scholarship applicable, as the scholarship amount is reduced from the fee of every semester.
