Cyber Law covers all transaction over internet, and keeps eyes on all activities involving the internet, World Wide Web and cyberspace. Cyber Laws yield legal recognition to electronic documents and a structure to support e-filing and e-commerce transactions. It also provides a legal structure to reduce, and check cyber crimes. It looks over information security on the internet, software, and circulation of information security.
Misuse of Cyber Laws are considered as Cyber Crimes, which are criminal activities over the network and a computer or any device. Any crime that is computer oriented and happens over the internet is the misuse of Cyber Laws. It is done with the intention to harm an individual mentally, emotionally, psychologically, or economically, and also defames the person in a way. Cyber Crimes include- Identity theft, Phishing, Online scam etc. The rates of registered cyber crime cases in India are increasing day by day at high speeds. All these matters are strictly looked into by the Indian government, and strict actions are taken against those criminals accordingly.
