What mark's in neet for admission
Every year CBSE releases a 50th percentile marks which are required to qualify NEET.
In 2017, it was 131 and in 2018 it was 119. (UR)
You require minimum these marks to take admission in any college in India or abroad through NEET marks.
Now these marks are not sufficient to take admission in govt colleges.
For govt medical colleges you need above 530 marks through AIQ.
Although these marks can increase or decrease depending on the paper difficulty level and number of students and trends.
For state quota, these marks come a little low.
Similarly for BDS seats, you need above 450 for givt college.
The lower marks you score, the less reputed college you get and you may not get your desired course too.
So try to score above 600 for a good govt college across India.
I hope this helps.
Thank You
The cutoffs vary every year depending upon various factors like number of students appearing for the exam, difficulty of paper set, etc.
For MBBS in government colleges the cutoffs are highest (550+). For MBBS in private colleges the cutoffs are comparatively low.
Other than MBBS, courses like BDS, BHMS, etc have high cutoff but when compared to cutoff of MBBS they are lower.
You must score as high as possible to get course of your choice.
