What marks or rank should I get to be in CSE Branch at jadavpur University? Has Jee mains ranking anything to do here?

Jadavpur University is a State University of West Bengal and thus the admission is done through WBJEE.

So, if you want to get into Jadavpur, first sit for WBJEE.

To get into JU, you need to get a rank under 1500, If you are going for Electronics, CSE, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation etc., then you need a very decent score, your rank should be under 600–700. But, if you want to get in IT, Power, Printing, Construction -etc then scoring under 1200–1500 will be enough.

Being a public university, 100% seats of Jadhavpur University will be filled on the basis of WBJEE scores. JEE Main scores are not considered for admission. However, if you apply to private institutes, 10% of the seats are filled on the basis of JEE Main scores; remaining 90% is filled on the basis of WBJEE scores.
